Hey, I'm Matt!
... or at least that's what they tell me. I'm the ol saxophone player of the group. It's cool. We have fun. But you probably already know that if you have been to one of our shows. Well, this page is all about me; so if you have nothing better to do, read on.

Short Bio
I have been playing the Saxophone for a little over ten years now. I have really been serious about playing within the last four or so years. I am going to Consumnes River College in hopes to one day transfer (10 year plan), what's really sad is I want to be a teacher. Yes, it's true, I love music so much that I would give up being rich to share it with others. I guess the highlight of my career thus far has been the 2003 Tour of Europe with a local big band. I work at Skip's Music in Sacramento and I give private lessons for all who want to brush up on theory.Well, that's it. Hope to see you at a show.

Influences
I dig on all sorts of music. Really don't care what it is - as long as it is organic (made with real instruments and not composed on a casio). And it needs a good beat too. Sax Players to listen to... Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderly, John Coltrane, Lester Young, Coleman Hawkins, Gerry Mulligan, Paul Desmond, Ben Webster, Sonny Stitt, Sonny Rollins, Ornette Coleman, Paul Gonzalves, Art Pepper, Eric Dolphy, Wayne Shorter, Dexter Gordon, Joe Lovano, Art Pepper, Jackie Mclean... These are just some of many famous sax players that everyone should know. Start here, let me know if you want anymore.
